Sexual Health

Our goal at Health Education is to educate UCI students and help them become sexually healthy young adults.  A sexually health young adult is a person who understands that sexual intimacy represents various outcomes ranging from pleasure to conception to transmission of sexually transmitted infections, and who engages in active learning, decision-making, communication and behaviors that eliminate or reduce risk for unplanned pregnancy and/or STI transmission.*

A certified health education consultant is available to help you in the following ways:

  • One-on-one consultations regarding sexual health issues including birth control options, pregnancy options, communicating with your partner, and STDs
  • Free anonymous HIV testing
  • Free sexual health workshops

The Health Education Center also provides low cost condoms, lubricants, dental dams, and female condoms to UCI students.

For more information, please contact the Health Education Center at 949.824.9355 and speak with the Assistant Director and Manager of Sexual Health Programs Alisa Foreman Flowers.
